Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P STYLE="text-align:Justify;"><SPAN>Esta información fue publicada inicialmentepor la corporación en el Plan de Manejo para la Protección de las Aguas Subterráneas en el Departamento del Valle Del Cauca del año 2000.</SPAN></P><P STYLE="text-align:Justify;"><SPAN>La CVC realiza el monitoreo de niveles estáticos de los pozos desde hace más de 30 años; se hacen generalmente dos mediciones por año: Una durante el invierno, usualmente en el mes de mayo y otra al finalizar el verano, entre octubre y noviembre; con el fin de determinar la oscilación del nivel de agua en cada periodo. Esta información es referenciada al nivel medio del mar para trazar las líneas equipotenciales de igual nivel del agua. La dirección del flujo subterráneo se determina mediante líneas perpendiculares a estas equipotenciales.</SPAN></P><P STYLE="text-align:Justify;"><SPAN>Esta superficie piezométrica indica que todo el sistema acuífero se recarga principalmente en las cordilleras Central y Occidental y los conos aluviales del río Cauca y sus afluentes y su zona de descarga principal es el río Cauca a todo lo largo de su cauce desde Jamundí hasta Cartago.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
